You and your family can now save when you use the new CVS Caremark ExtraCare® Health Cards that were recently mailed to plan members who are covered by the Tufts Health Plan pharmacy benefit and whose employer has chosen to participate in this program.

The ExtraCare Health Cards can be used at CVS/pharmacy stores nationwide.

With the new CVS Caremark ExtraCare Health Cards, members and their eligible dependents will get 20 percent off the purchase price* of CVS/pharmacy store-brand, nonprescription, health-related items which may be eligible for reimbursement from flexible spending accounts**, commonly referred to as FSA-eligible items.

You don't have to have an FSA to use the new ExtraCare Health Cards and take advantage of these great discounts.

These items include nonprescription items you may buy frequently, such as:

  • Allergy relief items
  • Nasal decongestants
  • and more

How to Get Your 20 Percent Discount
You can begin using the new cards as soon as you receive them. Just show your ExtraCare Health Card at the time of purchase to receive your discount.

Because your privacy is important to Tufts Health Plan and CVS Caremark, CVS Caremark will not share information about your purchases with any other party, including Tufts Health Plan.
