Please consult the chart below for the times during the calendar year that you are able to enroll.

| Anyone can join a plan or switch to a different plan (enrollment will take effect Jan 1st.) | Anyone already enrolled in a plan can switch to a different plan with similar drug coverage. | Only those who are new to Medicare or have special circumstances can join during this time. |
Important Note:
If you are new to Medicare, you can join anytime up to 3 months before your 65th birthday, the month of your 65th birthday, and 3 months after. If you are new to Medicare but older than 65, you can enroll up to 3 months before electing Part B.
If you have retiree health care coverage through an employer, the enrollment rules are different. Call the employer or their benefits administrator for information.
