The Course

Monday, October 10, 2011 – Columbus Day

The Tufts Health Plan 10K for Women race course is run through the picturesque streets of Boston's Back Bay and Cambridge, MA. To ensure runner safety, the course is completely closed to traffic by members of the Boston, Cambridge, and Massachusetts State Police. The course offers six water stations as well as medical aid stations and course clocks at each mile. The race’s current course record was set in 1988 by Anne Hannam with a time of 31:38. The course is certified by USA Track & Field.

We are proud to announce our new course. The race is flatter than ever with and the opportunity to see the elites twice! With the new course please make sure you are listening to race announcements. The start location has moved to so you will be seeded at the crosswalk between the Boston Common and the Public Garden. DO NOT GO TO THE STATE HOUSE AS IN PAST YEARS!!!!
